Set after the events of DRAGON QUEST IV, this is the story of Torneko, a man who dreams of becoming the world's greatest weapons merchant. One day, he hears rumors of a mysterious dungeon said to contain incredible treasures. In search of a legendary treasure that no one has ever managed to bring back, Torneko sets out for the Mystery Dungeon.

Every decision matters. No safety nets.

Every time you enter, the Mystery Dungeon takes on a new form. That's the essence of the Mystery Dungeon series. Items and monsters change with every expedition, and each new journey begins from Level 1.

In this turn-based adventure, every step Torneko takes counts as a turn. Whenever he moves, the monsters move too, making every decision a matter of survival. Defeat enemies to gain experience and level up, gather equipment and items to grow stronger, and venture ever deeper in search of treasure. The deeper you go, the more powerful the monsters become.

If you are defeated in the dungeon, all the items you have collected will be lost, and your next attempt will begin again from Level 1 on the first floor. It's a dungeon-crawling RPG worthy of the claim to offer "a thousand adventures in one"!

■ Expand Your Shop with the Items You Collect!

If you can safely bring items back from the dungeon, you can gradually expand Torneko's shop. As the shop grows, you will be able to store more equipment and items between adventures, creating a lasting sense of progress even as each journey begins from Level 1.
