Crawl through spaces you were not meant to see, make every move count, uncover a secret history, unite with age-old enemies, and change the future in this gameplay-focused JRPG.
Four centuries ago, the Fallen Sun made an empire of an otherwise myopic and incompetent cult.
Having succumbed to either clarity or madness, the Blind King divided its power, and war erupted over the pieces. A prolonged churn of dead elites saw the former empire settle into a balance between three equal powers.
Today, the empire's ruins dot the hinterlands, and the Fallen Sun's rituals remain lost to memory.

Make every move count in quick, interleaved, turn-based combat. Operate your party like a single unit in battle that is easy to pick up, but difficult to master.

In distant Lisotte Castle Town, Daniela and Berto live the routines of soldiers at peacetime. They were taught that the Sun Cult was shaken off in revolution ten generations ago, and are used to resolving issues like property disputes, petty theft, and chronic annoyances caused by Daniela's schemeing brother, Angelo.
In nearby Alistair, a new group is gathered around a mysterious duo who appeared seemingly from nowhere.
What are Daniela and Berto to think, then, among reports that Angelo has been sighted with Sun Cultists?

Empire Reunited is designed to be played at a moderate pace, with attention to detail. It communicates much through inference and visual storytelling. It also assumes some experience with crude JRPGs of the early-to-mid 90s. Clues are often subtle, and treasure and information about the world are more abundant than a rushed playthrough will reveal. While the game is beatable in around 7 hours, a 9-10 hour playthrough will provide a richer experience.
