Congratulations on becoming our newest Deputy Ranger! It’s time to take your place among us here at Phantom Trails.

You’re stepping into the role at a critical time, Deputy. We need help restoring the trails after a nasty storm, and Lucy Falls is where you get to shine. With the park closed, you’ll be out by yourself, so stick to the notes I’ve left you and you’ll be just fine. Walk the trails, pick up the trash, and learn the history. Take the time to get to know this place at your own pace— you’ve got all day. With your map, compass, and flashlight there’s nothing that can stop you.

I won’t pretend I don’t know the stories. This park has a reputation as a place where strange things happen. Having walked these trails for quite some time, I'd just say this: Phantom Trails has its own brand of hospitality.
