Explore while daylight lasts, for when night comes, demons awake. You must hurry home, seal the doors, and pray your faith does not fail you.

The people of Besmirch pass judgement by omens as much as deeds, and their blessings turn to curses when hunger rises. To stay in their good graces, you must walk carefully between superstition, devotion, and the secrets they refuse to share. With their perception poisoned by desperation, you must prove you are worth more alive than banished.
